Bethany Mateosian studied Pilates in New York City with Romana Kryzanowska, one of the few people still alive who worked directly with Joe Pilates. She is certified in the Authentic Pilates Method of Body Conditioning(TM) and enjoys helping people find their "core" and develop lean and flexible bodies. She teaches group mat classes at World Arts and private sessions on the Pilates machines around the corner at Springboard Pilates. Meredith Sabella grew up in Lockport, NY. She has been studying the Pilates Method through Peak Pilates with master teacher Clare Dunphy in MA and will complete her certification in 2008. She sees Pilates as an avenue for helping people find their own strengths and feel good about themselves. As a teacher, she strives to make Pilates accessible to all and create a calm environment where clients can leave their stress at the door and enjoy finding freedom in movement. |

Maggie Bokor has a driving passion to help people find joy in their bodies. Always attracted to movement, music and expression, she has made a life as a multi-media artist encompassing fine arts, Reiki healing and singing/performing. She was attracted to Nia’s approach of whole-body, expressive, grounded movement to achieve fitness and wellness. Jaiyana (Jan Hanseth) began studying tribal-style bellydance in Arizona in 2003. She enjoys the unique fusion format and energy of dancers sharing focus and improvising together as a group. She is excited to be part of bringing tribal bellydance to Maine.
